The Institute is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the following scientific position in NII.
Staff Scientist-VIII / Deputy Director

Pay(HAG) Scale: Rs 67000-79000 (corresponding pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 22.400-525-24,5OO)
Age: 55 years
Qualifications
Essential –
- Ph.D / MD or equivalent in any branch of modern biology/ medical sciences;
- outstanding academic and scientific credentials as reflected from the publications in high quality journals;
- proven leadership abilities with multi-disciplinary approach to modern biology addressing immunological problems;
- 15-20 years of research experience as Principal Investigator in any National Instiution/ R&D Laboratory/ University.
Desirable :
- experience of managing academic programmes at Ph.D level:
- administrative skills appropriate for scientific organization;
- experience of interaction with National/ International institutions/ Organizations involved in promotion of scientific research.
