Recruitment of Scientist in Ministry of Earth Sciences
Applications are invited from Indian citizens for following posts:
Project Scientist “C”: 10 Posts
Remuneration: Rs.38,000/- (fixed)
Qualification:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Meteorology/Oceanography/ Atmospheric Science/ Physics/ Geophysics/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics and related field of science from a recognized university with at least first class (60%) at Post Graduation level. AND Three years experience in the above fields. Familiarity with UNIX Fortran.
- Research scholars who have done/completed their Ph.D or at least submitted their thesis would be considered equal to 3 years work experience. OR
- Master’s Degree/B.Tech. or equivalent in Computer Science from a recognized University with at least first class (60%) at Post Graduation/B.Tech. level AND Three years experience in scientific computing environment.
- Familiarity with UNIX Fortran/C/C++ OR
- M.Tech degree and two years research experience in the relevant field as per above. OR
- Ph.D in the relevant field as per above with familiarity in UNIX.Fortran/C/C++
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years
Last Date: 15 days from 23.01.2010 (date of publication in employment news) i.e. up to 06.02.2010
