Recruitment of Sailors in Indian Navy
Applications are invited from unmarried Male Candidates for Enrolment as Sailors for Sailor – Direct Entry Diploma Holders – 2/2010 Batch. Course Commencing 02 August 2010.
Eligibility Conditions:
Age: Candidates to be born between 01 August 1988 and 31 July 1992; both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualifications: 3 years Diploma with minimum 50% marks in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Aeronautical/ Ship Building/ Instrumentation/ Metallurgical Engineering from a Govt. recognised polytechnic/ institute.
Pay: Pay Band -1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay 2000 + MSP Rs.2000 plus X group Pay @ Rs.1400/- plus allowances.
Selection Criteria: Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.
