Project Associate-cum-Documentation Officer: 01 Post
Job Responsibilities
NCHRC is looking to recruit a young and dynamic professional for the post of Project Associate cum Documentation officer . The Project Associate will work u nder the guidance of the Coordinator NCHRC and in close cooperation with other team members to carry out the following tasks:
- Support the development and management of a Digital Repository of information on child health by helping in collection, categorization, and abstract writing for the resource materials (policies, guidelines, program reports, training modules, case studies) .
- Lead the development and dissemination of IEC/BCC materials and other publications pertaining to child health and related maternal health issues for the frontline health workers, especially those working at the district, block and village level.
- Prepare and record timely program reports, minutes of meeting, project activities and other documents as per the requirement of the center .
- Help in the preparation of resource materials for the upcoming long distance course on the management of newborn health, and other courses run by NIHFW
- Liaise with the NIHFW faculty and RCH Team in conducting operations research on child health issues in different states and help in data collection , analysis and drafting of report s.
- Help the Coordinator in daily administrative work and p rovide support to other team members for implementing their tasks.
- Work together with the NIPI Secretariat and State level NIPI teams in developing State Child Health Resource Centers and build partnerships with key stakeholders at the national and state level.
- Carry out any other task assigned by the Director NIHFW from time to time
Qualification and Work experience
- MBBS with MD (CHA/Community Medicine) or MPH, Ph. D or Masters in Home Science/ Social Science/Social work/other similar fields, MBA, PG Qualification in Human Resource Management (HRM).
- Should have at least 5 years experience of working in health projects with reputed organization particularly in RCH sector.
- Good communication skills (both oral and written) in English and Hindi. Preference would be given to those with experience of developing project reports, training modules, IEC/BCC materials, etc.
- Excellent working knowledge of computer.
- Ability to work within a diverse team and meet timely targets in a quality manner
IT Consultant-cum-Coordinator: 01 Post
Job Responsibilities
The center is looking to recruit a young and dynamic professional for the post of IT Consultant cum coordinator for web portal . The IT Consultant will work under the guidance of the Coordinator NCHRC and in close cooperation with other team members to carry out the following tasks :
- Maintenance and updating of NCHRC module on the NIHFW website.
- Management of an Online Database for collecting and analyzing data (on Homebased Newborn and Postnatal care ) from the field to facilitate translation of activity data for monitoring, evaluation and research . This process requires the incumbent to provide technical assistance to the field staff and visit field areas if required.
- Help in the development and management of Digital R epository of information on child health and related maternal health, including processes to disseminate information to stakeholders via RSS alerts, group emails, etc.
- Translation of Training materials/modules into the web-based format in coordination with the NIPI Secretariat and NIHFW faculty to facilitate easy access of information for the health workers at the district/block level,
- Plan, develop and design new HMIS as per the requirement of the project.
- Coordinate with the Computer Dept of NIHFW in ensuring smooth functioning of the IT facilities at NIHFW and carry out any other task assigned by the Director from time to time
Qualification and Work experience
- Masters degree in computer scien ces, information technology or related field.
- Should have a minimum of 5 years experience in development of Management Information Systems with reputed organizations . Preference would be given to candidates with experience in the health sector
- Practical knowledge of handling large databases .
- Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills.
- Communication skills, teamwork and client orientation.
Technical skills - Microsoft technologies (ASP, ASP.NET with backend as SQL Server 2000/2005/2008)(Essential)
- Open source technologies – PHP with MySql (Desirable)
- Operating systems (Windows, UNIX and Linux)
