Recruitment of various postings in National Manufacturing Competitiveness Council(NMCC)

National Manufacturing Competitiveness Council (NMCC), an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, D/o Industrial Policy & Promotion is in the process of filling up the following posts on deputation.

Additional Chief/Joint: 01 Post
Qualification:

• Officers holding equivalent post on regular basis in the Central Government/CPSUs; or
• With 5 years regular service in PB 3 + Grade Pay of Rs.7600/- or equivalent under the Central/State Governments/UT Administration/Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/Public Undertakings/Autonomous Organisations having experience of with industry/research and preparation of research papers/project reports/economy /Manufacturing sector and familiarity with principles and policies of industrial licensing, industrial scenario/Manufacturing competitiveness, developments in international industry, specially relating to developing countries and matters, such as International Monetary Fund and General Agreement on Trade and Tariffs, International Trade etc., failing which
• Personnel from Industry of Industry Associations with 10 years of work experience in areas of Industrial Development/Manufacturing/Infrastructure/Finance. Incumbents selected from industry will be given a consolidated amount taking into consideration the relevant scale of pay/remuneration drawn by him. Additional increments in the scale can be considered in deserving cases by the Search Committee.

Pay: Chief PB-4 Rs.37400-67000 +8700(Grade Pay) Plus usual Central Govt. allowances (Addl Chief)/ PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 +7600(Grade Pay) Plus usual Central Govt. allowances (Joint Chief)

Deputy Chief: 02 Posts
Qualification:

• Officers holding equivalent post on regular basis in the Central Government/CPSUs; or
• With 5 years regular service in PB 3 + Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- or equivalent having experience in the relevant field of research/formulation of projects/Manufacturing/Economics/Statistics/Administration/Establishment etc., failing which
• Personnel from Industry of Industry Associations with 8 years of work experience in areas of Industrial Development/Manufacturing/Infrastructure/Finance. Incumbents selected from industry will be given a consolidated amount taking into consideration the relevant scale of pay/remuneration drawn by him. Additional increments in the scale can be considered in deserving cases by the Search Committee.

Pay: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100+6600(Grade Pay) Plus usual Central Govt. Allowances

Private Secretary: 01 Post
Qualification:

• Holding equivalent post on regular basis in the Central Government/State Govts./CPSUs/Autonomous Bodies; or
• With 5 years regular service in the Stenographer Grade C in PB 2 + Grade Pay of Rs.4600/- or equivalent on regular basis or
• Failing which people will be taken on contract or consolidated amount as per the prevailing market conditions

Pay: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + 4800(Grade Pay) Plus usual Central Govt. Allowances

Personal Assistant: 05 Posts
Qualification:

• Holding equivalent post on regular basis in the Central Government/State Govts./CPSUs/Autonomous Bodies; or
• With 8 years regular service as Stenographer in PB 1 + Grade Pay of Rs.2400/- or equivalent on regular basis; or
• Failing which people will be taken on contract or consolidated amount as per the prevailing market conditions.

Pay: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + 4600(GP) Plus usual Central Govt. allowances

Assistant: 01 Post
Qualification:

• Holding equivalent post on regular basis in the Central Government/State Govts./CPSUs/Autonomous Bodies; or
• With 8 years regular service as UDC in PB 1 + Grade Pay of Rs.2400/- or equivalent on regular basis; or
• Failing which people will be taken on contract or consolidated amount as per the prevailing market conditions.

Pay: PB-2 Rs.9300-34800+4600(GP) Plus usual Central Govt. Allowances

Stenographer: 02 Posts
Qualification:

• Holding the equivalent post on regular basis in the Central Government/State Govt./CPSUs/Autonomous Bodies and holding Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of computer is essential.
• Failing which people will be taken on contract or consolidated amount as per the prevailing market conditions.

Pay: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200+2400(GP) Plus usual Central Govt. Allowances
