The Institute invites applications for the following positions from Indian nationals possessing excellent academic record and relevant work experience:
Deputy Registrar (Finance and Accounts) – 1 Post
Pay Band + Grade Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Rs. 7,600
Age: 45 years as on closing date of advertisement.
Qualification and Experience:
A Post Graduate Degree in Commerce or allied disciplines with minimum 55% marks / equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale; along with 9 years of experience in the Grade Pay of Rs. 6000/- and above or 5 years experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post with experience in Finance and Accounts management in large organizations preferably in Government Organization / University / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Research or Academic Institution. Candidates with relevant work experience in reputed private sector organizations can also be considered.
Assistant Engineer (Civil) – 1 Post
Pay Band + Grade Pay: Rs. 9300-34800 + Rs. 4200
Qualification and Experience:
B.E./B. Tech or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering with minimum 55% marks/equivalent grade with 2 years of relevant work experience. OR Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering with minimum 55% marks/equivalent grade with 6 years of relevant work experience as described below. Experience of supervision of the building works, preparation of tender document, Estimation, Scrutiny of RA Bills, maintenance of residential / institutional campuses, Coordination of various contract agencies preferably in Government Organization / University / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Research or Academic Institution. Candidates with relevant work experience in reputed private sector organizations can also be considered.
Age: 35 years as on closing date of advertisement.
Office Superintendent– 2 Posts
Pay Band + Grade Pay: Rs. 9300-34800 + Rs. 4200
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification with minimum 55% marks/equivalent grade with 6 years of relevant work experience in administrative functions such as personnel, administration, academic programme coordination, maintenance of infrastructure, supervision of contract services etc; amenability for office automation.
Age: 35 years as on closing date of advertisement.
Scientific Assistant (Laboratories) –1 Post (Reserved for Scheduled Caste category)
Pay Band + Grade Pay: Rs. 9300-34800 + Rs. 4200
Qualification and Experience:
B.Sc. Physics/Biology or equivalent qualification with minimum 55% marks/equivalent grade. 4 years of experience in assisting practical sessions in undergraduate / graduate/ research laboratories, maintaining stock of the lab consumables, facilitating the process of procurement of lab equipments, Candidates with relevant work experience in reputed private sector organizations / institutes can also be considered.
Age: 30 years as on closing date of advertisement.
Car Driver–1 Post
Pay Band + Grade Pay: Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Rs. 1,900
Qualification and Experience: 10th Pass or equivalent qualification with 2 years experience of office car driving preferably of a senior official. Other eligibility criteria being equal, preference will be given to local candidate. Permanent license for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving and knowledge of traffic rules is a must.
