Applications are invited from male and female Indian citizens for grant of Permanent. Short Service Commission in Ground Duty branches of the India Air/ Force for the following courses for which training will commence in July 2010
128 No. Ground Duty Officers’ Course (Permanent Commission for Men).
21 No. Short Service Commission Course for men.
37 No. Short Service Commission Course for Women.
Educational qualification:
Administration & Logistic Branch: Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Management/ Engineering or LLB.
Account Branch: Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Commerce OR CA/ ICWA with B.Com/ M.Com.
Meteorology Branch: Post Graduate Degree in Science/ Geography/ MCA (having passed Mathematics and Physics at Graduation level).
Education Branch: Post Graduate degree in English/ Defence Studies/ Psychology/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Management OR M.Ed. Degree after PG as stated above or Ph.D. in the above stated subjects.
Last Date: 12.10.09 (19.10.09 for candidates from far_flung areas)
